Dell PowerConnect 8164 10GBASE-T Network Switch
The Dell PowerConnect 8164 is a 48 port network switch capable of operating each port at speeds up to 10 Gbps (100Mb/1Gb/10Gb). This high speed network switch is expandable, and can support up to 64 ports with the installation of an optional QSFP+/40GbE module to expand the fiber ports of the Dell PowerConnect 8164. An integrated USB port is included for local import / export of configuration files. The switch supports standard administrative functions such as broadcast storm control and iSCSI auto-configuration. Additional features of the PowerConnect 8164 include a 128,000 MAC address table, 1.2 Tbps switching capacity, Layer 3 and VLAN support, as well as Quality of Service or QoS. This PowerConnect switch is perfect for the most demanding installations especially when performance and reliability are of the utmost importance.
