Adtran Atlas 800 8-Channel Voice Compression (1200221L1)
The Adtran Atlas 800 8-Channel Voice Compression Module (1200221L1) provides voice compression functionality for Atlas 800 series gateways. Provides up to 6:1 compression ratio over traditional G.711 phone calls. The module is able to save bandwidth by using the G.723.1 compression protocol. The card can compress analog voice calls directed from a channelized T1, BRI, or PRI digital interface. These modules are compatible with the 800 Plus, 810 Plus, 830, and 890 Atlas systems.
