The Avaya 2490 is a digital version of the Polycom SoundStation 2 conference phone. The Polycom 2305-16375-001 is an expandable conference phones that can add expansion microphones to increase the room coverage of the conference phone. The Avaya 2490 plugs directly into an Avaya Definity or Avaya Communication Manager system bypassing the need for an analog adapter. The Avaya 2490 provides acoustic clarity technology along with dynamic noise reduction to provide professional level conference calls. Three spaced microphones ensure the Avaya 2490 can pick up sound in 360 degree coverage. The Polycom 2305-16375-001 has a backlit graphical display.
