The Mitel 51009841 Gigabit Ethernet Stand is the first generation version of the Gigabit stand. The Mitel 51009841 can be supported by either IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet or 48V power supply. The Mitel Gigabit stand is a perfect solution for those with network speed issues. If your computer and phone share the same network drop, your phone may be slowing you down. What the Mitel GbE Stand does is allow your computer to utilize the Gigabit speeds of your network switch. The Mitel GbE V2 Stand has three ports, two Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) and one 10/100 MB port.

Works Great!
I purchased this to see if it would allow fro a quick change to a gigabit upgrade. It does. No programming or anything else to be done. Just swap the base and if you have a gigabit switch you are good to go.
