The Mitel 5310 conference unit is also know as the conference 'saucer.' The IP 5310 is an add on part for Mitel IP phones that allow for handsfree calls to larger groups of people such as in a boardroom. The Mitel 5310 is a full duplex conferencing unit that uses noise reduction and automatic gain control technology to produce clear sound. Built in LED status indicators alert users to where the unit is picking sound up from. The Mitel 5310 can be powered by 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) when used with the Mitel 5235, 5324, 5330, 5340, and 5360.
