The Inter-Tel Axxess 8662E is an upgraded version of the 550.8660 containing 16MB of memory. The 8662E is PoE (Power Over Ethernet) which means an 802.3af compliant switch can power this phone. For those who don't have a PoE switch, you can simply add the 48 volt power supply below. The Inter-Tel 8662E features 23 programmable buttons, 8 menu buttons, a 10/100 Ethernet switch, headset port, speakerphone, message indicator lamp, hearing aid compatibility, and a built-in adjustable base. The phone can be either desk or wall mounted, allowing for a variety of installation methods. The Inter-Tel 550.8662E supports remote connections over either a VPN tunnel or the WAN.
