The Dell PowerEdge R815 server is an enterprise ready 2u rack server designed for visualization and high performance computing. The Dell PowerEdge R815 is a four socket server with four 2.2 Ghz AMD Opteron processors. This Dell PowerEdge R815 comes with 64Gb of ECC DDR3 RAM installed, but can handle up to 1TB of total memory through the 32 installed DIMM slots. Up to 6 2.5" SATA SDD, SAS, nearline SAS, or SATA drives can be installed into the server, and 6 PCIe G2 slots are installed in the server. A RAID controller is installed in the server along with two Dual Port Broadcom 5709C Gigabit NICs. Two hot pluggable 1100W power supplies are built into the server to help ensure uptime of your server.
