The Dell PowerConnect 3524P is the perfect switch for small to medium sized businesses seeking a solution for their IP telephony and other networking needs. The Dell 3524P provides twenty-four fast Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet capabilities. This means the 3524P can power your IP phones and other 802.3af compliant devices. This PowerConnect switch also features two combo ports which can act as SFP fiber or Gigabit Ethernet ports. These combo ports, or dual personality ports, are typically used for uplinking and stacking additional networking equipment if and when your business grows. This Dell switch also features auto-sensing ports, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Quality of Service, in a rack mountable metal chassis.
