Adtran MX2800 Multiplexers
The Adtran MX2800 is a enterprise grade multiplexer that converts T3 circuits into channelized T1 circuits and channelized T1 into a T3 circuit. The multiplexer is completely redundant with the ability to support 1:1 redundancy at the controller card level and the power supply. The Adtran MX2800 series of multiplexers offers extensive management and configuration options.
The Adtran MX2800 provides M13 multiplexing into a chassis that meets stringent NEBS level 3 requirements. The chassis is 1U high and fits into any standard 19" network rack. The unit allows for consolidating 28 T1 or 21 E1 signals into a single T3 circuit. Adtran multiplexers support remote dial backup through optional modem modules, and can be powered via either AC or DC power.
