Avaya G700 Media Gateway with X330STK
The Avaya G700 is a modular media gateway. The G700 accepts several options and is stackable with additional G700 gateways. The G700 / 700394984 is able to work with an S8300 media server or connects through the LAN to an S8700 media server. The media gateway can support up to 15 ports of tone detection.
Being a modular gateway, the G700 supports 4 media module slots, a P330 expansion module slot, and a slot for an octaplane stacking fabric. A X330STK stacking module is included in the stacking fabric port. A serial port is built in for command line access, and two 10/100 Base-T ports are built into the chassis. The Avaya G700 media gateway also includes a VoIP engine that supports up to 64 G.711 phone calls at once.
