The Avaya 5601 is the entry level phone designed for Avaya's IP Office phone system. The IP 5601 offers a pair of programmable buttons for use as feature keys or other needs. The phone has no display, but features a message waiting indicator that alerts users to voicemail. 8 fixed feature keys add access to commonly used phone features. The Avaya 5601 only supports dynamic (DHCP) IP addresses. The 5601 IP Office phone supports 802.3af power over Ethernet in addition to power directly from an Avaya 1151 power supply.
