The Allworx 9212L is a powerful phone featuring a large backlit LCD display. The 9212L was designed to improve efficiency and work flow while remaining reliable and durable. The most important features of this Allworx 9212L phone include 12 programmable buttons, 12 line appearances, 4 soft keys, 3 navigation keys, and 10 fixed feature keys (hold, mute, speaker, info, park, release, transfer, conference, intercom, and messages). Dual-color LED indicators allows you to easily see the status of each line, while the visual ring indicator informs you of incoming calls. The 9212L is great for handsfree communication because of the full duplex speakerphone along with the built-in RJ-11 headset port. A removable multi-tilt base was incorporated into the ergonomic design of this Allworx 9212L phone, however, this phone is also wall mountable if you prefer.

The Allworx 9212L can be powered by an 802.3af compliant PoE switch due to the fact the 9212L is a PoE (Power Over Ethernet) phone. Those without a PoE switch can still use this phone simply by adding the 24v power supply. The Allworx 9212L also has an integrated 10/100 Ethernet switch, so you phone and computer can share the same network drop.
