Adtran NetVanta 3205 (1202870L1) Router
The Adtran NetVanta 3205 is a rack mountable enterprise router. The Adtran 1202870L1 is the second generation version of the 3205 router. The NetVanta 3205 offers a network interface module slot in the rear of the router. The NIM slot handles up to two T1 circuits worth of bandwidth in the rear of the router. The Adtran NetVanta 3205 can support Internet access, MPLS, corporate frame relay, point to point protocol (PPP), and ADSL over a NIM or broadband backup through an Ethernet interface.
The NetVanta 3205 includes several standard IP router features such as a stateful inspection firewall, quality of service, Network Address Translation (NAT), DHCP server, command line interface, and a web based GUI for programming the router. The router can be configured through either command line interface or a web based graphical user interface.
