The ShoreTel 212k is a much different IP phone compared to ShoreTel's traditional phone design. The ShoreTel 212k offers 12 function keys designed to set up the ShoreTel phone to behave as if it were a key phone. The IP 212k's 12 keys are self labeling through the LCD on the side of the phone. No longer do you have to use paper designation strips whenever you need to label an extension.

The ShoreTel IP212k includes a built in 10/100 Ethernet switch. This integrated two port switch makes it possible to collocate a PC and IP phone on the same network drop. In addition, a full duplex speakerphone enables high quality hands-free conferencing through the phone.
